You lose your beloved family pet. So how do you grieve together…or not?

Dealing with your ex can be stressful anytime and even more so when a beloved family pet passes away. You are dealing with the kids and grief and the whole sad process.

Our first loss was my beloved Champers a Maltese terrier who I adored and we all loved. OMG it was so tragic – bitten twice by ticks and she waited until we came to the vet and then left us!

Dealing with this sad news and the young children and my ex  was all so stressful. My ex came and helped with the burial.

Since then we have had three more pet deaths and the last one was only a few weeks ago when my beloved cat of 20 years passed on. She had been with me through marriage, divorce, kids, new house, business, my mother! LOL!

This time our family unit grieved and took care of her together. This time we coped much better and even during this tragic time WE REMEMBERED THE GOOD TIMES and I didn’t need to have any issues with the Ex.
